Mounting Suggestions for the Yamaha
V-Star 1100 Custom 1999-20
Two-Piece Seat
Tools Required:
Metric Allen Wrenches
Metric Sockets
Hardware:
Stock Rear Fender
Black Solo Washer (Included)
Black Nylon Washer (Included)
Two 1/4-20x3/4" Bolts (Included)
Baseplate Features:
The two-piece, marine-grade fiberglass baseplate directly
replaces the stock two-piece seat. Rubber bumpers are
positioned to prevent the seat from touching the frame and
fender.
Stock Seat Removal Steps
1. Remove stock screw from fender.
2. Slide passenger seat back to remove.
3. Remove two screws holding bracket to fender.
4. Slide solo back and up to remove.
Mounting of Mustang Seat
1. Install stock solo bracket to Mustang solo with two 1/4-20x3/4"
bolts supplied.
2. Engage nose bracket on solo into receiver at base of fuel
tank.
3. Secure solo to fender using two stock bolts, receiver bracket
for passenger seat must be bolted down at the same time.
4. Slide bracket at front of passenger seat into fender bracket.
5. Secure rear of passenger seat with stock screw.
